just took a year around cab off of a 1750, what a pain,still have to take seat off to get some bracket off. my cab had real small/narrow door compared to yours. took me more than an hour cause i had to get all the dirt out to find the bolts and they were all rusted tight so had to grind most of them off

Since the output voltage is around 25v you might add a 3000 or 4000uf 70v-100v rated capacitor across the output + and - of the rectifier, it would smooth out the ac ripple and most likely help with starting the arc.

Thanks for your video! I have a JD 5. I haven't figured out how to use it with my Oliver 3pt hitch. My 5 has the 3pt hitch lower arm ball sockets (shaped like a C) that are supposed to somehow connect to the tractor...? I don't know. Suggestions?

Im planning to do the same. Neighbor has a H312 ditch witch attachment. All i see on it is the mounting brackets, the offset pipe to off set it, 2 hydraulic hoses that attach to the center where the trencher chain centers, but i dont see and sprocket or anything for driving the trencher. This leads me to believe that everything is driven by hydraulics? Perhaps it has a hydraulic motor? Any ideas on this model.?

The extension cannot effect the output in any way. if it is kept in line No oporator error. But the small changes the operator can induce will have next to no effect at the work end. And as for the crow foot when the tool clicks it will always click at the set poundage but because you have lengthened the tool effectively that amount of change will show up at the guage whuch is after the click. I would have added some heat sink compound between the rectifier and heatsink to aid in the transfer of heat.
